Wilshire
Project Highlights: Stucco and stonework
This home was a demolition/rebuild. Wilshire was also our first project with architect, Davey McEathron. The design featured beautiful stucco and stonework on this home, while respecting the architecture of the neighborhood by fitting in while bringing a modern aesthetic. The foundation brought unique challenges, as it was complicated due to the soil at the site, requiring 45 drilled piers. Taking a look at the breezeway, one can see the old Texas “dog-trot” design with a modern esthetic. The clean roof design featured no overhang. Integrated gutters were built into the roof system.
